The Liberia Standards Authority (LISA) and the Rubber Development Fund Incorporated (RDFI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen cooperation in Liberia’s rubber sector.
The signing ceremony took place on Wednesday in the conference room of the Liberia Standards Authority.
The agreement seeks to promote collaboration in standards development, quality assurance, product certification, and competitiveness across the rubber industry.
The ceremony brought together senior officials and stakeholders from both institutions. Commerce and Industry Minister Magdalene E. Dagoseh also attended the event and signed the MoU.
Officials said the partnership will help improve compliance with standards, raise product quality, and support sustainable growth in one of Liberia’s key economic sectors.
The agreement also aims to expand market opportunities for Liberian rubber products by helping producers meet national and international standards.
